Sparkling Birthday

Still catching up so I have another project I did recently that I haven't had time to share yet.  This one is fun & sparkly and I love how it's full of bright colors.  Something fun & colorful is exactly what I could use right now.  How about you?!

I have to say this card turned out a little different than I expected.  Most importantly, the color scheme is definitely a bit different from something I'd usually go for.  But when I did the wine glass, I wanted a red wine (even though the stamp is called White Wine glass  - lol!).  And then when I colored the translucent glass; it ended up having bit of a teal cast to it.  So I decided to build on this unusual red/teal combo and I loved the look!  Very unique - and the colors really have a lot of "pop"!

The multi-colored birthday print paper balances out all the bright colors.  And I think the dotted center border went really well with the sparkling bubbles in the wine.  And to make the border extra bubbly; the whole strip was accented with Waterscape glitter for tons of sparkle.  The Spellbinders grommet label was outlined in the glitter too.  It's even more bright & sparkly in person!  A couple red rhinestones balance out the card elements for a card that any friend would love to receive!

Full instructions for this card can be found in the SNS gallery here.

Hope you enjoyed this card!  For those of you celebrating the 4th on this "early" weekend - hope you have a great holiday and be safe!

Until next time,
***Julie***

This looks great Julie! That slight trace of blue in the glass just makes it look more realistic I think and I bet the sparkle irl is fantastic!
